Caroline Vitale

Dr. Vitale received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, in Detroit, completed her residency training from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, followed by further training in Geriatrics through a Geriatric Medicine fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. Vitale is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She enjoys rendering individualized care to older adults with a focus on enhancing quality of life. Her teaching and academic areas of interest include ethical decision-making and efforts to understand care decisions affecting older adults, especially those with dementia.  Her clinical efforts are focused on enhancing geriatric care practices and in training the next generation of physicians with expertise in Geriatrics.
