Donald Kasitinon
MD

Dr. Kasitinon earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at UT Southwestern, where he also served as academic chief resident. He then received advanced training through a nonoperative sports medicine fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center.  He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Kasitinon is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP), and the Texas PM&R Society. In addition, he serves on the AMSSM Education Committee and the AAP Physiatry Fund Task Force.
He served as team physician for the 2021 national and PAC-12 champion Stanford Cardinal women’s basketball team and the 2021 PAC-12 champion Stanford Cardinal men’s soccer team. From 2020 to 2021, he served as team physician for Stanford men’s volleyball, men’s and women’s track and field and cross country, and women’s field hockey. He previously helped provide medical care for the NHL’s Dallas Stars and the ATP Tour’s Irving Tennis Classic.
