Dr. Alicia Canzanese received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and currently owns a private practice in Glenside, PA.

She is the Vice president and Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports medicine and executive board member of the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association.  She also recently became an adjunct faculty member at TUSPM, teaching the Sports Medicine Course.\

Prior to entering the podiatric profession, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Salisbury University in Maryland and is board certified as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).

Once of her practice philosophies is to look at all conditions through a sports medicine lens.  She is the team Podiatrist for Arcadia University and treats many recreational walkers and runners.  She was also an  NCAA Collegiate athlete, competing on the Salisbury University Track and Field team as a sprinter and thrower.
