Rachel Albright
DPM, MPH
Dr. Albright practices in the Stamford, CT area as a member of Stamford Health Medical Group. She completed her podiatric medicine and surgery residency with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery (RRA) in Chicago, IL at two level-one trauma centers in the city. Following, she pursued a fellowship at Dartmouth College as part of the APMA/TDI Fellowship and completed a Master in Public Health (MPH) from Dartmouth College, focusing in biostatistics and health economics.
Dr. Albright currently serves on the admissions committee for The Dartmouth Institute’s MS and MPH programs, the Board of Directors for Stamford Health Medical Group, and the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Group.
Dr. Albright’s medical focus encompasses sports medicine, elective surgery, trauma, diabetic foot conditions and a strong emphasis on preventative medicine. As chair-elect of the Foot & Ankle Health Section of the American Public Health Association (APHA), she has co-authored national policy statements endorsed by APHA on preventing foot amputations and preventing falls in older adults (pending approval). These policy statements are publicly available and used to support legislative efforts targeted toward prevention.
